There is no need to be intimidated. We do push people because we find that most limitations are self-imposed and you will work very hard at the workshop. That being said, our objectives are is to teach you, not to crush you.
Our experience shows that it is better to teach a few things really well and include a lot of demonstration and lecture so that the pace will be manageable. You will have a great time learning in a comfortable environment. Or else!

The course will be run in two sections. We will be covering the basics in the first half and here is some of what you'll learn:
The Warm Up. The days of spending twenty minutes on a treadmill glued to your iPod are long gone. We will be introducing dynamic warm ups based around bodyweight training and joint mobility.
The Kettlebell Swing. If there is one exercise that defines kettlebell training it is the swing. A full body movement that develops strength from the toes to the fingertips, supercharges your cardiovascular system and helps hone a fantastic physique...if done properly. We'll teach you how the swing should be done; there will be no back soreness or pain, all that you get is stronger and fitter!

Clean and Press. This one exercise will deliver high levels of upper body strength as well as a fantastically well defined upper body. It's also a hard exercise so we'll teach you all the techniques to get your strength rocketing without getting sore shoulders.
Turkish Get Up. If you want rock hard abs this is the exercise for you! It will develop rock hard obliques and six pack abs. For the grapplers and MMA athletes amongst you this one drill can make the difference between throwing your opponent off you like a rag doll or falling prey to "pound and ground". Which option do you prefer? Well in that case we expect to see you at the workshop!

Kettlebell Programme Design and LKB Circuits.
Once you've learnt the basics you'll want to put the drills into practice. We have developed some phenomenal workouts with kettlebell circuits and these will be unlike any other workout you have ever experienced; we guarantee it! These will kickstart your metabolism and get fat shifting fast.
How to integrate kettlebells into combat sports
CJ will be presenting all new material geared towards boxers and other combat athletes. He will be looking at programme design and linking kettlebell exercises, and non kettlebell exercises (e.g Bodyweight/ Medicine Ball/ Skipping Ropes etc) into an effective training session/routine. This section is geared towards conditioning 2-3 minute round fighters, highlighting the important difference between training for 2 - 3 minute rounds and general fitness.

Our classes are run professionally with no ego, posing or strange men in combat gear that you find at other places. We have a great instructor to attendee ratio, there will be three of us and the maximum class size is twenty five. Eight spaces have already been booked and we just made this public!
