cardio

Sunday

Did a 10km race & twisted the muscle above my ankle on the outside of my leg about half way through. I carried on and did not walk/stop at all & did a time of 1hr 16mins. Which is ok considering. Think I could have done it in under an hour if I wasn't injured.

Taking a rest for a few days to let my ankle heal but am still going GTG on pullups and doing the odd KBs here and there.

Will do some KBs & low impact cardio tommorow.

Wenesday

Club run :) 4.6 miles in 52ish mins.
Really enjoyed it. Was at the front of my group for most of the time & really attacked some hills. Definitely gonna keep this up on wednesdays.

Monday

3.2 mile run in 36mins (calves felt a bit ropey & too much pollution from the cars).

Monday

Early Morning run (6:45 start): 4 miles in 46.57.

Did some stretches afterwards. It's nice to run this early - although I have less energy, theres much less car-pollution :)

Tuesday

4 mile run - 47:48minutes (cardio personal best in the last 4 years or so)

Felt really good. Must have done the 1st two miles in about 17minutes! Starting to get the hang of this cardio stuff again :)

Thurs, Fri & Sunday

Thursday: Moved house (around 25 trips carrying stuff weighing between 5 & 50kg for 20ish metres

Fri: Cycled to near Lynton on Exmoor (38 miles in 4.25hours including a constant 5 mile uphill climb and some offroad - which is always fun:)

Sunday: Cycled back after camping on exmoor for 2 days (just did a bit of walking & making fires:) same route (38miles 3.5hours)

Not used to this sort of exercise (cycling), although its not very intense; after about 3 hours of constant exercise it becomes really hard to do anything. But in the end it was fine - my arse just hurts a bit :)

Back to kettlebells tommorow!

Thats about a 12.34 minute mile. Pretty lame at the moment but I've gotta start somewhere!
Gonna keep doing this route until I get it down to about 30minutes.
