super training- personal bests and more

tuesday night- after tkd class and with no food.

popped down to the gym and decided it was time to work the 16k jerks using the rack position for recovery and fine tuning the technique. i was aiming for about 200-300 using a 5/5 switch with no rest. 65 mins later i did 1001 with more in the tank- trouble was i was overheating and didnt want to hammer the immune system too much. lost 3lb in that time and could just about drive home- shows you what you can do considering i never trained jerks before and had 2 years out :)

got a PB with a 5 x 11lb pinch left side as well as right

did 10 snatches with my 40k as a warm up :) then got 3 right with my 50k. may go for a lefty 50k soon

things are certainly picking up pace at last!
