Sam Solomi

Now that i have a 32kg kettlebell i would never be without it! It is an extremely versatile piece of kit and can be used to work just about every part of the body efficiently. It targets the grip and the core especially, which are vital areas for my training goals. I have noticed carryover to my supporting grip strength since using the Kettlebell. My increasing rolling thunder max, which is now 203lbs is evidence of this!

My favourite movement with the bell is the bottom up press which works the shoulder complex in addition to the forearms and the core. I am confident that doing this exercise will help my balance and core strength and will aid me in my eventual goal of pressing the millennium bell overhead with one arm. As a personal trainer, kettlebells are something that I would most definitely recommend to clients regardless of goal, be it fat loss, strength, endurance! One arm swings with the kettlebell have proved excellent cardio for me.

I weigh 255lbs at 5'8'', not exactly the ideal build for road running or hours of treadmill work. By doing swings with kettlebells i am able to get a cardio workout without the shin splints and knee problems that would result from running. A 48kg kettlebell is on the 'to buy' list now for the near future. Thank you again to London Kettlebells for introducing me to this method of training
